The Neillsville Improvement Corporation was formed in 1989 as a Wisconsin non-profit organization with membership comprised of citizens from business, industry, agriculture, and the professions.

NIC's goal is to stimulate and strengthen the community and tourist trade through ongoing improvement projects.
